Lisa Avila lavila@focusracine.org Program coordinator Lisa is Program Coordinator at Focus on Community. She has been with Focus since 2012 and is involved with most of the programs offered to our community. Family programming is her favorite. “The work we do can change lives for the better, and I am beyond grateful to be a part of that.” Christina Converset cconverset@focusracine.org program manager Growing up in Indiana in the 70s, my parents mentored for me an understanding on how to give your life to your community and to serve. My mother was a County Council Woman for over 35 years and my father served on both the School Board and the Rotarian State Board. Living in Wisconsin has been a life of service to the communities of Western Racine County. First, working with the Franciscan Friars in ministry. Then as the executive director of the Transitional Living Center. In seeing the issues of substance abuse in our homeless teen populations, I decided to become the director and co-creator of the Partners2 program that has served Burlington, Waterford, and Union Grove's communities. Personally, I have two grown children. They are both true miracles. And have been in a loving relationship with my fellow traveler in life, Karl. We have both skydived! And enjoy hiking each and every spot we travel. |
