Support Focus
Your donation will go to supporting our Substance Misuse Prevention efforts throughout Racine County. We work with youth and families to build assets, teach important life skills and improve resilience. These strategies have been proven to reduce risky behavior and improve over all success. We know that the best solution to a problem is to never let it become a problem.
Focus is the primary agency in Racine County dedicated to the prevention of substance abuse and related problems. In 2021 our staff and volunteers helped over 8,000 individuals and families! This would not be possible without the many gracious donations made throughout the year.
Currently we are working towards raising matching funds for three of our outstanding programs. The Teen Peer Program, Families and Schools Together (F.A.S.T.), and the Botvin Lifeskills Program all of these programs focus on the development of important skills and developing assets. These strategies have been proven to improve resiliency, reduce youth substance misuse and risky behavior. When we invest in prevention we are better able to set young people up for success by removing barriers and more adequately preparing them for their lives as adults.
