Family And Schools Together (F.A.S.T.)
WHAT IS FAST?
Families And Schools Together (F.A.S.T.) is an innovative and collaborative prevention and parent-involvement program where families gather to participate in fun, research-based activities aimed at strengthening families and empowering parents.
The three goals of the F.A.S.T. program are:
Focus on Community, families and schools work together to participate in eight to ten weekly sessions that are 2.5 hours long and held at the school.
The three goals of the F.A.S.T. program are:
- Strengthening family cohesion
- Developing more positive predictors of school success
- Increasing knowledge of alcohol and other drug abuse facts, issues, and resources
