Since 1980, Focus has offered programs for the prevention of alcohol and other drug abuse. These programs reach 8,000 Racine County youth and adults each year. Focus provides award winning programs such as Strengthening Families and FAST (Families and Schools Together), LifeSkills and the Teen Peer Program.
Formerly the Racine Council on Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse, Focus serves as a resource center, and offers referral services for those seeking treatment options.
All of Focus’ services and programs are provided free of charge. The work of Focus is funded by a variety of sources, with donations from individuals and organizations representing a critical component in the financial security of the agency.
Our Mission: To provide innovative and integrated programs for the prevention of substance abuse by providing education, building positive values and promoting healthy lifestyle choices for youth and families.
