When I began as the Executive Director 21 years ago, there were only three part-time employees. We were charged with providing substance abuse prevention, education, and advocacy to the folks of Racine County, a daunting task!

Over the years, many things have changed, such as the change in our name to Focus on Community. Our staff has become much larger and more diverse in all ways. The diversity of our staff mirrors that of our community, and all of us are committed to maintaining the high quality of our programs.

None of this would have been possible without the financial support of many donors, volunteers and dedicated board members whose vision brought Focus to where it is today. Last year we reached over 10,000 youth and adults in Racine County with our effective prevention programs. Thank you, everyone, for helping to make this job so rewarding.
